Forgetting To Breathe



Dreaming of an existence with no hurt feelings,
wishing it could be a reality in time.
Nothing happens to quiet emotions that have
been torn and crumpled from the inside out.
Left to manage somehow on my own, I forget to
breathe and fall aside to a life of emptiness
all my own.
