Forging Tomorrow Poem by Sven Rhoads

Forging Tomorrow

Into the fire I will burn the impurities out
The cracks in the armor will again be as one
Hammers pounding until there is no doubt
Burning and glowing like the white-hot sun

Sparks are flying like the stars at night
The futures coming and its shedding the light

Beaten into the strongest form I know
These trials that have become the norm
Ignite the darkness with my searing glow
Its time to once again be reborn

Into the water to harden my soul
Now is the time to take back control

I paint this picture with the dragons fire
Forging tomorrow on the blank canvas
No god will tell me otherwise
See determination in my eyes
I fill this forge with my eternal desire
My paint so red has begun to splash
Burning, my every movement now
Will find a way somehow
