Forgive me

O lord, forgive me for ignorance
It has not happened only once
Each time I prayed and took chance
Sat idle thereafter and watched across fence

What have I not done?
I have gone to an extreme end
Indulged in sinful activities
And ignored other deities

I insulted my fellow brothers
Addressed no concerns
Turned table on them
Still, prayed for beam of light

What is an option open
Will the gate of heaven give entry?
I am unaware of my entity
Please guide me the path o, almighty

I have observed
But tried to serve
With sincere drive
How long will I survive in this way?
