Forgiven Poem by Zyw Zywa

Forgiven

I stayed
to finish work
the corridor is dark

with familiar lights
red and blue, vigilantly
the devices are blinking

It's the last time
I'm leaving, disappointed
I write everything down

and then I tear it up
the evidence
declared unneeded

my tears dried
I have chosen
to be who I want to be, I

choose to live
