Forgotten Dreams Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Forgotten Dreams

Wandering down lanes of trodden dreams,
picking and poking at their leftovers,
wondering what happened to them.
Why have they been forgotten?
Are we leaving too many behind?
Soiled and lying in puddles of disarray,
no longer shining or young.
