Fountains Of Youthful Innocence Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Fountains Of Youthful Innocence

Jumbling and tumbling into measures that want to be heard by
everyone, a glorious and mesmerizing temptation, an impossibil-
ity of life's innocence.

Being undertaken by voices and their instruments as they delve
and dive into fountains of youthful innocence through property
of coded rhythms.

An energy that never abates, only continuing to beat along the
highways of yesterday's memories as they fill the air with scent-
imental moments and their aromas of silence and serenity.

They formulate and gently move into a mysterious desert of hope
and accomplishment where they find a sphere to reside in on a
screen of photographic hieroglyphics.

All shining their power from remnants of a life that used to be
and now has taken on a new passage of life, turning pages of a
cherished and innate talent.

Always leading to the source of a spiritual interior life being
lived totally alone, loving this sacred environment where innate
talent finds a connection to the Divine every time.

Finding a way back in time no matter the time of day or night,
just living in its throes and enjoying the space that's been
left free for a poet, enlivening soul and spirit.
