Fourth Period Poem by Paige Nielsen

Fourth Period

Rating: 2.8

Math class boredom enumerates;
arc angles, release me.
Oh my, I’m mistaken!
This secret tryst of x, i, and pi
is more “complex” than we can tell.
Talking to the dead leads me nowhere;
this zombie cult is my affliction.

Pi! I love Pi! 3.14! Heh, I’m so obsessed that even as you’re claiming your hate for it, I’m squealing with joy…

I LOVE that. Short, but, it holds a great deal of description. I love the use of 'zombie cult'. A thicker veil than most are used too. Nicely done.
