Fragile Love. Poem by Hannah York

Fragile Love.

Rating: 5.0

Eveytime I look at you I catch my breath,
Nothing can part us not even death,
My heart is spiralling flying up high,
Because your eyes hold me like the sky,
Like amber they have wonder trapped inside.
Together our hearts start to glide,
Hopes and dreams entwined in glee,
Your love sets me free.

But now it's turned sour,
Everything's changed in just one hour,
I don't understand what I did,
To make you leave me like this.
Suddenly I'm no longer free,
The caged bird is now me.
I used to think our love was strong,
Now I realise it was fragile all along.

nice flow. but love should not be fragile. however, it is your opinion. may be due to realization. but poetry is never fragile.
