Frankii Poem by Alesia Leach

Frankii

A baby was born, but has not
felt her mother's love

Her mother is sick
a heroin addict

But the angels watch over her
from heaven above

Blessing each giver indeed
that help meet this baby's needs

So, that when she leaves this
cold, sterile place

She feels the love and comfort
of her grandparents embrace

That I have to post this upsets me:

A very sad tale! it is unfortunate that the little angel is not able to relish the love or warmth of its mother! For the time being, it is substituted by the love of its grand parents! Hope things will straighten up in course of time and its mother will come out of her addiction and fulfill her obligations to the baby!
