I am the free bird
son of words
and always look forward
with the carefully worded poems and verses

many have tried to undermine
discourage and even defined me
as an underdog and blocked
I took their role as joked

what the poet actually wants!
and puts forward
his ideas and vision
with no more confusion

people don't speak against
but try their level best
to malign and term it as negative
but he has to remain firm and indicative

your life reflects in the verses
there is no remorse
no regrets
but only let go of feelings
