Free Bird Flying Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Free Bird Flying

High above the world,
where the wind sings only to you,
you glide without chains,
without maps, without walls.

No path to follow,
no borders to keep you in,
just the endless sky
and the rhythm of your beating wings.

The earth watches from below,
but you belong to the open air,
to the clouds that drift without question,
to the sun that paints your feathers gold.

You are not lost-
you are simply free.
