Free Will Poem by RACHEL ZARANTONELLO

Free Will

Rating: 5.0

Life only moves forward
It is not meant to last
Enjoy what makes you smile
Leave the sorrow in the past
You will not let me know you. I give up
I wanted to and I tried.
You never really wanted me
All my efforts wasted or denied
Free will is a balance- meaning
We do just what we want to do
Why is it so hard for you to just say what you mean:
'I'm really just not that into you'? ? ?
Because if you do not care about me
It should not bother you to say
Stop making excuses for me or for you...
and let me be on my way.
It's all about the good times.
We've had a lot of them. It's true
I will be on my way now
It was fun. But now it's through.
In the end everything is a lesson learned or a memory
Never regret the choices you make
Because at one time- it was exactly what you wanted
Even if it was a mistake.
