Freedom Poem by Hannah Davies

Freedom

What would it be like to be free?
Free from the past with no-one to haunt me.
The world is such a big and scary place
As I enter the court to put forward my case.

I can't stand the thought of them being so close
But to see them sent down that's whats needed most!
I know that they will do all that they can
To convince the world he's an honest man.

I know that ALL will have to come out
I'm doing the right thing, without a doubt? ! ? !
I know that more innocent people may get hurt
But answer me this, was it fair for them to treat me like dirt?

This whole thing has changed my life
I find it hard to love, can't see myself as anyone's wife.
So many decisions that need to be made
If I make the right ones, then I hope this pain will soon fade.

They should be taken off the streets
They're a danger to society adn deserve severe beats.
Lock them up like the animals they are
They took advantage and took things too far.

I can not keep living in constant fear
Of not knowing where they are, they could be so near.
And once I have spoken up and all is done
I can try and move on, concentrate on having some fun.
