Freedom From Strife Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Freedom From Strife

Rating: 3.5

It's freedom from strife and disorder
In the soothsayer's redundant ring,
Promising a world of tranquility
On the white dove's outstretched wing.

There are many problems to overcome,
Poverty and suffering and falling shells.
Hark! the peacekeeper's encouraging words,
Hear the tintinnabulation of the bells!

Peaceful coexistence is the story
Of a gentle and soothing song,
In a new and revitalized glory,
Righting every worldly wrong.

In the joy of accepting tolerance,
Seeing signs of harmony in the air,
Faith and hope and love are prevalent,
Jubilant people singing everywhere.
