Friends, people who love and care for you,
But ones who are true are in few.
They build an eternal bond so strong,
While with them, you feel that nothing's wrong!

When you get them in trouble they don't seem to mind,
But they aren't always extremely kind!
Sometimes they pretend to intently listen to you
Even though in reality, they already knew.

You should realize their very presence is a bliss,
If you don't, then there's something amiss.
Friendship thrives in the many fun times
And in those fights which happen sometimes.

Friends are the only ones who truly understand you,
And those to whom you should never ever wish adieu!
