We all have a multitude of friendships
That we have made through the years
But only a handful of friends
Will share pure laughter and sad tears
As we look back on those friends
Many things come to mind
We cherish those special ones
For so difficult they are to find
Old annuals from our school days
Bring memories of many things
So young and so excited
For life and all its dreams
So I think it’s really important
To stop and pause now and then
Enjoy our friends past and present
As our life turns ‘round the bend!
Yes, friends may come and friends may go, but true friends are priceless! They stick by you through thick and thin, and they know all your faults and still love you! A lovely message in this poem, Marilyn. Nicely done! Linda :)
