From Another Man's Loss Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

From Another Man's Loss

Some harp on another man's loss,
And his faults, these they magnify.
Finger pointing is easy because
Our own dirt we like to deny.

Some fail to look at their hearts,
Find there the darkness gripping.
Words reveal what they can impart
In truth, they need more of repenting.

For to rise up from arrogant pride,
Takes courage to face the real 'us'.
To assess our life and look inside
And resolve to change, as we must.
