From Dark Clay
From dark clay
Someone asked me about my origin
Where i was born?
Who were my parents?
And what did we sell at?
I was looking simple
Very sober and calm
Yet they had found
Some reasons with my round
"From dark clay" I replied
Parents were penniless whole of the day
Despite sweating under hot sun
This is my background and generally known
They stared at my reply
I was not feeling shy
But standing erect
and fully alert
I was called for interview
They wanted to form some views
I had nothing to present
Except some brilliance or qualities inherent
