Water roars, a mighty sound,
As worm goes on the hook, profound.
Below the rush, in water deep,
A hungry fish, secrets to keep.
Trout are caught, a silver gleam,
Char too, a ruby dream.
Dinner's set, a happy sight,
But still the urge, with all my might.
The fishing's grand, the day so fair,
Hard to leave, beyond compare.
Then a buzz, a sudden ring,
Sleepy eyes, what will it bring?
Dreams depart, reality's call,
Work and worries stand up tall.
The day unfolds, as days will do,
With tasks and thoughts, for me and you.
