From Horn To Drone Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

From Horn To Drone

From horn to drone

News is ugly but
It sparks and delights.

In Heathrow:
"A plane and drone collided …"

Drone is itself art
"Art of war…"

And this is invention
time to time it changes.

Nader Shah of Iran:
"Catch the goats,
smear fat on horns,
set aflame, let them go,
rush them down to the foe...'

The goats ran for their lives
down the height they rolled as...
…fireballs…

Enemy saw comers as fighters
too scared, chose escape…

Invention due to war…

Bin Laden; if is right,
lost his life to drones…

Drone is child of war.

War means death and blood
it surely is ugly; very much.

Go to past and recall history
use of bones and stones…

War also has its art.
