From Its Perspective Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

From Its Perspective

Give 'yourself' the opportunity,
To see things as they are.
Investigate.
At least become more observant.

And you may be quite surprised,
You might have spent most of your life lived,
Totally based upon assumptions.

And that which 'is' has been ignored,
By your lack of participation confessed.
And from 'its' perspective...
You don't exist either.
Leaving no benefit of this to be exchanged.
