From My Heart To Yours Poem by Kasia Fedyk

How fragile is the soul I'm holding in my hands.
It speaks in voices so hard to put down,
so you could see it, feel it;
So many voices carry one after another,
like firecrackers exploding inside of me,
how can I put it all together for you to see,
~ this display,
that sits deep inside my chambers, like the depth of the ocean,
you could never truly explore, could you?
I sit here in the absence of everything, as if just melted away by heat, provoking it, demanding, igniting, so I take it in,
I inhale it, with one deep breath.
I get lost for a while in this gentle caress that carries my soul, somewhere beyond this.
I share it with you,
maybe you will feel it too,
maybe for just a fragment of time,
a moment,
a second,
somewhere in the open space where the firecracker reaches,
from my heart to yours.

My words, so simply spoken, oh I try to write all,
but its only a whisper,
can you hear it?
