From One End Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

From One End

From one end

Whole night I dreamed
And beamed
My concentration
On her face revelation

Was she indicating?
Her nod for meeting
I was not sure
But saw certainly a bright future

She was like red rose
Just fresh to pose
With petals wide open
As if decorating heaven

Eyes looked down
With intention made known
I waited for her to go
And took out whistle to blow

I decided to take some advantage
As her picture was drawn on page
My eyes moved from one end to another
She was almost there
