From Within

Speak easy
listening to the sound of your heart beat.
A silent feather bedlam in the sighs of your tantrum.
Lucky flesh wallops
pout inside the aches of your race car heat.
Such delicate page turning in all your conundrum.
How your meringue rhythm embraces my thoughts.
Falling post-its of square yellow tears.
Unfolding joy this embrace has taught.
A snowflake kiss on my eyelid appears.
You are well for this moment of light I am with you.
A lullaby touch through your hair as I sing.
Tender,
love,
care,
that trifecta virtue.
The smile in your stir finally shows from within.
