Frozen Night Chill Predation Nights Poem by Terence George Craddock

Frozen Night Chill Predation Nights

humanity retains subconscious
hidden lurking terror memories

ancient predation preyed upon memories

killing silently in dark nights
humanity hunted by shadows

fears stillness wind whisper movements

predators hunters hunted in sunshine prey feast opportunity days
predators hunters hunted in ink blood darkness opportunity nights

in preyed upon frozen night chill predation nights

death fears night chill moments memories
death fears night chill primeval trauma nightmares

in preyed upon creeping still horror frozen night chill predation nights

humanity evolved a hunter gather predator pack hunters
humanity night skills weak in wilderness mind still fears night predators
