Full Moon - Poem by Ula Goss

A moon as full
Light filled mirrored face
Encompassed passing
Bland reflection
Of beaming rays
And faded shadows
Of her waning hands
That grope at the
Last drops of night
And she who melts
Into day and dawn
A moon thus filled
With stories, the ages'
Loss and love
Borne witness
To gods' rage
Each forgotten age
And every mad man's
scribbled page
I write this poem to thee
Oh pale mother moon.
