Full Stop - Poem by Rose Lu ( Bing Hua )

Too nervous at the first meeting,
I made my silk scarf slide off down to the ground
And a question mark in my heart is found

Confused when saying goodbye,
I was too bashful to banter and greet
And the question mark extended to an exclamation one on the sly

When can we meet again?
Fearless of gossip
But I do fear that the exclamation mark
Won't be able to break out of the circle of the full stop
