Fun On A Summer Night Poem by Ray Hansell

Fun On A Summer Night

I saw you standing there
In your pantyhose
Wearing silver shoes
Wrapped around your toes

You greeted me with a kiss
Then took me by the hand
We walked over to the bed
Cooled, by a fan

A hot summer evening
About to get hotter
A fly buzzing around
So I got the swatter

We lay down on the covers
As close as we could be
Both naked to the world
But only for us to see

Love filled the room
Hope filled our hearts
Hoping that real soon
We'd have another start
