Funny Poem: Stange

Rating: 5.0

If you don't know, now you do:
'a stang' is a pole, a stake and a sting;
but there's no such thing as 'a stange'.

Nor is 'to stange' in our tongue;
though 'to stang' is to sting and to prick.

I propose that 'a stange' be a biggish stang,
and 'to stange' 'to sting really hard'
and 'to clout with a biggish stick'.

'Stang' is a new word to me-and its meanings. Compressed meaning here.

Stang and sting both word having close perspective. The purpose is brilliantly expressed. This poem is an amazing poem...10
