Fur Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Fur

Fur

She is Jew, I, Muslim
In Moscow, Vancouver.

She sent me a message
Greeting Christmas.

I love this, is great
We break the borders…

Olga and Nasrollah
Have nothing in common
Except love and kindness
For people, animals…

Is great, I love this
Breaking of borders.

We are not those who kill
Buffalo and poor mink,
For fur, do fracking,
And leaving cracking
Of Earth, in future.

We are not the hunters,
Nor fishers, trappers,
Do not die for power
In any house, palace.

We are the simplest
Kinds of poor human,
Urns of love for nature.

We enjoy life in tent
And tepee and garden,
Around us, free birds.

We stand and observe
The sea waves and mountains,
Take shoes off and walk the
Long beaches, to deserts,
Embrace the nature…
