Fur Raising Poem by Ima Ryma

Fur Raising

I woke up spinning all around,
With lots of clothes and it was hot.
But then I heard a welcome sound,
Door opening and out I got.
Ran through the house, came to a mirror,
And got a shock surprise for sure.
Like Einstein's head I did appear.
Pointing wildly was my white fur.
Now ev'rybody stares at me,
Giggling and wondering what's up
With my fur do going wildly,
Giving a weird look to this pup.

But now I know what can transpire
When I do nap inside the dryer.
