G.E.J Poem by Akujuobi Chijioke

G.E.J

A response to an unending need,
Has he come to wipe the strain of the evil seed?
Or a mere picture of a broken piece?
A clamour sung from the bowels of the sea...

Voices elated to mystic reality,
Our sons groaning for a cause of harmony.
Is he with us or against?
Are our votes still fallen on empty space?

Never may deception cling to the truth,
For grey hair sees life in the eyes of the youth.
Hearts are stirred and minds are caged;
Where stand we for love or for G.E.J.
