Gain Control Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Gain Control

Rating: 5.0

L-ong and lonely night
Y-ields to early dawn;
N-ew morn has broken,
E-vening shadows are gone.
T-wilight has just turned
T-o a clear and wide sky;
E-ver bright sun erases the dark, due to the rays up high.

N-o more haze in the air,
E-yes of you gladly glow;
M-ist has left the scene,
O-ne beacon beats the sorrow.

C-louds that darken above
A-re finally fading away;
S-econd month of the year,
T-wenty-sixth break of day.
I-mprint my verse in your heart,
L-et it soothe your soul;
L-earn to ease your mind,
O-vercome aches and gain control.
