Galactic Travel Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

Galactic Travel

I climbed the stairways to heaven and,
Step up into orbit to somehow
Slipped on the moon
I knew immediately that I wouldn't be
Returning to earth, anytime soon
I was struck with awe
Regarding the beauty in orbit
Also allured by the warmth and
Illumination of the Golden sun
I Made a vow
Upon returning to get my work on
Earth completely done
Even more determined than before
To enjoy my life and have
Tons of fun
