Gambling And Rambling Poem by Saul Palti

Gambling And Rambling

Iv been gambling at casinos
in old jerico
putting my dimes down
a dark damp hole
placing my bets with one hand
watching it flow
dancing with the other
that I do know

il forever gamble my money
away
for the buzz Im getting
will always stay
the roulette and poker
is what I play
with no other sound at dawn
is what they say

il die for this country
for high steaks
breathing fire from over
the lakes
with no time for anyone
there distant flakes
two hard hands come my way
its all it takes
