Gamtraer Iii: You Made A Fool Out Of Me Poem by Twisted Moon

Gamtraer Iii: You Made A Fool Out Of Me

Rating: 5.0

So I'm just going to come right out and say it,
You give me a sign and I'll obey it,
You gave me plenty, So I followed,
So silently, my soul you swallowed.

I always knew we couldn't be,
But you've always meant so much to me,
And I thought I meant the same to you,
I thought at least this much was true.

But it turns out I was just another guy,
Another fool for you to play with, another pig in the sty,
And the hardest thing about this, for me to do,
Is sit here and face the truth and that I was never anything special to you.

So I'm just another guy and nothing more,
Just a fragment of a project, that you've done one thousand times before,
But I just can't seem to face it, I just can't seem to see,
How could you do this to me, how could I be the nothing in to which you reduce me?

You built me up, you led me on,
You took every facet of my imagination, and turned it on,
So elegantly you fooled me into thinking this was real,
For a second I thought I was as special as you made me feel.

I wish this to be the last poem about you that I write,
I wish this to be the last time that I think about you all night,
I just don't know if I can do this anymore,
And I doubt anyone wants to read a potential Gamtraer IV.
