Garden Of Eden

A quiet pool
a waterfall
and the sound of whispering moor grass

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
HOUSE

The house is mine
the house is not mine
the house will be mine if I wait
a little longer
the Search goes on
it takes aeons and aeons and you wonder
will tarmacadum sweep past the front door
or
a Leisure centre spring to the swing of
iron number four?

Your buyer says no, it's not for me
I came here to find the countryside
me too!
I loved this house
loved its quiet garden and its memories,

once
