Who stands brighter than the millions and
Who stands taller than the trillions?
The ocean stood not still
But grew larger
Farther and farther
'Til sight could not reach
In the Garden of Sharon
The word beauty is not enough
Beauty cannot capture
And bearly can it touch
But there is more
Yea there are many more
As far as the eye can see
And still there are more
Specs of gold and plots of purple
Such blues and greens and browns
Are common in Sharon
But otherwise cannot be found
Yet in all this there is one
One that stands brighter than
The millions and one that stands
Taller than the trillions
The Rose of Sharon is recognized
But is hated as well
Hatred laughed as The Rose fell
The garden was shattered by
The death of its king
Scattered and teased
Thinking hopelessly
Once there was a garden
But now there are weeds
The garden looked around
Three hundred sixty degrees
And behold
The Rose of Sharon was found
The Rose carried a sword
And a flame in His mouth
He plucked all the weeds
'Till they were no more found
As the garden was gathered
There were found many
But The Rose was greater
Greater than any
