Gaze Acroos The Shore Poem by Paul Sebastian

Gaze Acroos The Shore

Docked in the harbour
I am safe from life trials
Need not toil or labour
Need not sail the miles
I need not gaze across shore

Ship is not build for that reason!
But, to travel the stormy seas
To be weathered by seasons
To sail, make new discoveries
Not idly, gaze across the shore!

Life is not to merely gaze
Nor is it meant to laze
Life is to live your best, in haste
To be fruitful, not become a waste
Longingly, I gaze across the shore
