Gentle Reminders Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Gentle Reminders

What lies beneath the soft white snow?
Brightly coloured Crocus,
Waiting to show,
The beauty of their fine display,
A lovely look to brighten my day.

What hides behind the stars and moon?
Precious loved ones,
Gone too soon,
Looking down from their heavenly abode,
We sadly miss their hearts of gold.

What lies within a loving heart?
Memories that will never part,
For they stay with us everyday,
Reminders that never go away.
