Get It Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Get It

Collateral
damage
overextended
overleveraged
a people; who have
grown used to, a largess
of handouts soon lose the
sway and swagger of a perineal winner
and become whiners, each experiencing
problems with maintaining self-order
becoming financial zombies rallying
around theatrical provocations, and
false-flag operations; radically altering
decisions made by an authoritarian and
theocratic leaning divided house; as is the
legislative branch of the American government…
this of course, leads to a societal meltdown, and
each of you so bare, your apathetic laziness, as
witness to this; and do nothing, in effect, to
make this insanity go away! Therefore and
by economic `ways and means'; you each
earn, a `broader piece', of the dirty and
deteriorating `pie' of social discontent
and you are now experiencing those
downstream events, i.e. a sharp rise
in, `costs of living' expenses, the
distinct and massive arising and
permanent underemployment
and the apparent, and vivid
exponential increase in
personal discontent…

A very significant poem. The world is in the grip of discontent n insanity owing to the apathy of governments n people in general. The commercialism is making humans lose touch with their finer selves n the world is steadily on the way to a complete moral collapse. The social n economic issues you have pointed out are real issues. A thought-provoking read.
