Get Rid Of Yeast Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Get Rid Of Yeast

We’re told to rid our self of yeast
Clouding our child like mind
Instead we forage like some beast
Consuming all we find

A theory here a doctrine there
Principles widely spread
Shifting changing what God would share
Till many walk as dead

God’s holy word is much abused
Without His guiding Light
Till now this world is so confused
She wanders through the night

Her knowledge is the devil’s own
Her wisdom’s less than rare
Content to reign on theory’s throne
And foolishness to share

Her books are read, their contents taught
Her laws and rules deployed
Denied is God, His true report
And Christ is null and void

But Christ forewarned these things would be
Like Noah’s day before
Living loving debauchery
We’d close to God our door

The day has come the night’s far spent
God’s warning’s loud and clear
Unless from sin we now repent
God’s wrath we’ll more than fear

The world’s just feeling labour pains
God gives to understand
For but a while His grace remains
In Jesus’ loving hand

till many walk as dead - wish they walked as dead TO sin, not dead IN sin. Yes, we walk with sin as our skin. But Christ is there for us - great poem
