Ghunghat or head covering
with loose end of saree
or dupatta
is not a part of Indian culture
before centuries
it was an obligation for Hindus
our ancestors imbibed it
to protect our beautiful women
from kidnapping
by Muslims
now it's meaningless
but still continuing
its existence strong in villages
specially in North India
South India never approved it
even inside the temple
because it was not their obligation
time has come
to bye the ghunghat culture
from Hindu societies.
