Gift Of The Wise Cat Poem by Ima Ryma

Gift Of The Wise Cat

I share with the human the house.
The human gets excited when
I bring to the human a mouse,
Generous ev'ry now and then.
This cat does have a giving heart,
And humoring the human is
Just practicing my feline heart,
A 'cat'alogue of 'purr'fect biz.
The human has a bunch to share,
Of toys and food and warm lap stuff.
And so I try to show I care.
Meowism is not enough.

And so for Xmas I did bring
A mouse for the human's stocking.
