Gifted Scholar Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Gifted Scholar

Rating: 5.0

O, lords
I have no words
How innocent she is?
Exact dream angle she is

Since years I have dreamed
Always thought of and imagined
Her face reminds of pure innocence
She has shown me her face at once

Many more may be longing
Even though not in her thought but still try to belong
It is such a light on earth
I name her as NurJehan.*

She is gifted scholar
With all qualities as similar
Some times I prove to be liar
But she is never subjected to satire

Only few people are blessed
With lots of flavor and graced
No one can take away their charm
As they are precious and can do no harm

I know many poetesses
Who are really talented among mass
They present real picture without any show
Yet in forest garden they naturally grow

I shall love and bow to such beauty
As it is gift from almighty
We got to honor and give respect
We shale b called coward if fail in our act

Hasmukh ji, this poem is a little confusing as I don't understand whom are you talking about. The poem could do with some editing too. Rework on it could help bring in clarity. Warm regards. GSP Rao, Hyderabad May 05,2014
