Ginger Tea Poem by Marilyn Jean

Ginger Tea

I drink it in my favorite mug
The one that say happiness is
When I play with my Clarinet

It is hot and quite spicy
I put some fresh lemon and honey
I drink it slowly and I am happy

I wonder what tomorrow brings me
I did not choose nor buy this mug
Yet tea is the best it can be

I don't worry about tomorrow
I'll find the path and a way out
It takes time to find home

Yet often I hurry and regret
Then I sit here doing nothing
See, see just I want happiness
