Give and take

It is like give and take
There is no retake
Once you hurt someone
It can't be forgotten

It is a generous act
And certainly reflects
On the part of an individual
No one can take it as casual

Your heart may feel
And try to fill
It with compassion
As it involves the human relation

We need to be cautious
And can't act as vicious
Anybody, even animals, may feel bad
And turn suddenly sad

It is like an arrow
That comes straight and pierces through the heart
We are very much part of civilized society
Respect to, elders as well as youngers, is called decency

It is reciprocal
For all the people
It reflects sound
When you go around

It is earned
And not turned
As gain or pain
It remains an inseparable part
