Give Me Time, Give Me Love - Poem by diana rose tolentino

Give me time, back to that single moment
When I was gullible, naive and young.
With no worries, just fantasies,
Freedom to choose my own destiny.

When I can try to walk or risk a run,
Jump up high or fly to the sky.
I can sing bad with broken chords,
All can laugh or grin astound.

When I can stay wide awake all night
Or dream forever with just one night.
Give me a pen, I'll write a song,
Give me love, what could go wrong?

Give me a tune, a line or two.
I can make a whole lot for you.
Give me glitters, I'll paint the world.
Give me love, I know I could.

The poet has good old memories...being nostalgic in a expressive way... Great and wonderful poem. (Report)Reply
