Grow Old Waiting Poem by diana rose tolentino

Grow Old Waiting

Rating: 5.0

watching the sun setting down again
Another day passed waiting in vain
With hope that tomorrow would be the day
That you will finally find your way.

Sitting in the porch sipping cold tea
Looking far, dreaming of you and me
Background music, sweet melody
Leaves dancing in perfect harmony

In the end I'll got up with misty eyes
Remembering how we had said goodbyes
Memories that are both bitter and cold
Faded pictures now that I am old
