Glories More Gay Poem by Deci Hernandez

Glories More Gay

A virgin to the scent of the Sisteen Chapel
Yet i know glories more gay
Glories years cannot fade
And glories of no color
And glories greater than all

i have never kissed a flower
But i know the fruit is bitter and sour
Though she is pleasing to my eyes
Her beauty will change in an hour
She is from dirt made
She is her own grave

And i know she did her job
And her job is well done

A lion in the midst of grasshoppers
i have never seen such a dispute
How these bugs killed
By eating the food of food
Yet i know it was the lions fault
He did not think things through
When it was prophesied

Locusts will come
Who's to say what a man's
And woman's folly is
Who's to say see
The invisible we but prey
And glory is saved for another day
No

See good glory can forgive
Exist allowed and be known today
Though i stand on a peek
See all things still i think
And know
Of glories more gay
